Ironically, my start in Medicine started as a Paramedic wanting and waiting to work for the City or County. In that two year wait I had many mentoring physicians advising me to start Med-school that I would do well. I took their advise and the rest is history. He completed rigorous medical training from recognized institutions, including an internship at University Of Miami (2005) and University Of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital (2004), followed by residency training in Family Medicine at East Jefferson Family Medicine Residency- Tulane University (2009), and fellowship training in the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine (2007), specializing in the comprehensive medical care of all ages. I Believe in taking care of a person, building rapport, trust and emphasizing contunity. Family physicians are required to complete an extensive three-year residency program after graduating from medical school. As part of their residency, they receive training in six major medical areas: pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, psychiatry and neurology, surgery and community medicine. As a result, family physicians are the only medical specialists qualified to provide comprehensive health care for people of all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity.
